  Calling for more government support equals calling for more taxes. Why can't we attract private sector investment into a sector that every one claims is lucrative. Who do the practitioners themselves do with the so called wealth that the flaunt as celebrities? This is sick logic. Asking to tax more to make us rich whilst we flaunt luxury and insult us before our own eyes.

  U are 100% right..even roads to most tourist destinations are in deplorable state..I went to Kakum national park sometime ago and the road leading to the place was terrible..Ghanaian leaders are sick..the reason why the country is always going to IMF/world bank is because we don’t have busin-minded politicians..they don’t even know one tourist destination can generate the country billions of dollars that will help them to govern the country without going to that wicked IMF..those slave castle, how much does it take to just paint it? How much will it cost to fix the road leading to kakum national park..because if a tourist travel all the way from Europe to Ghana to see kakum and imagine if he/she has to drive on terrible road network, do u think he will recommend it to someone..Ghana is having leadership crisis..Ghana as a country has so much potential..a peaceful country like this, imagine we get some sensible leadership, the way the country will make money from tourism.but we got his jokers just wasting time in power..

  The govt needs to improve on the infrastructure of the country..roads are terrible..most buildings in Ghana are too old..Hospitals are not standard..foreigners are coming to Ghana because the country is improving its infrastructure but unfortunately the development is too slow..Ghana needs to work on speed..Also foreigners should not be put ahead of the indigenous citizens..If u are building infrastructure that your local citizens cannot access because they too poor to afford it, it’s pure stupidity..there must be development of human capital aswell as infrastructure development..Let’s not build a country where only foreigners will come and have good life whiles the citizens cannot afford basic infrastructure in the country..Nana Addo did pretty well with infrastructure devt but he was so much focused on foreigners coming to occupy the country with that rubbish year of return..Ghana belongs to Ghanaians and the citizens needs to have a better life before foreigners will come and explore it..if u go to Dubai, their citizens are on top, whiles visitors come and explore..it seems most Africans build country to impress foreigners..it’s pure madness..Nana Addo was calling for foreigners to come and occupy Ghana all in the name of rubbish year of return but has no time to address the needs of the youth of Ghana..He didn’t care about Ghanaians leaving the country for greener pastures but he cared more about foreigners coming to take over the country..Prez Mahama should not make that mistake..develop Ghana for Ghanaians..if u develop your country and it’s citizens, foreigners and tourists will come..
