Bagbin is beginning to think that he is Otumfuo in parliament. The beginning and the end of everything. He lacks bones. He is ready to appease these NPP wild pigs in parliament. Let me remind him of Joe Biden.

But has the Speaker of Parliament any power to punish anybody at all? No. The judicial powers of state are vested in the judiciary headed by the Chief Justice. Has the Speaker of Parliament any power to prosecute suspects? No. The power to prosecute is vested in the Executive head by the President. Therefore the Speaker can only recommend to His Excellency the President. Someone must tell this Speaker that he has no power under the Constitution to threaten anybody. What he may do is to petition the president or file a motion at the High Court alleging that somebody has committed an offense. This allegation must be proved before a high Court Judge. So Mr. Speaker please be measured in your threats
They should be asked to vacate their seats.
