It’s true that he didn’t directly steal from Kwahuman. But the proud people of Kwahu expect the Omanhene to live like Caesar’s wife and be beyond reproach. Just the mere suspicion that Caesar’s wife had had an extramarital affair was enough for Caesar to divorce her. How did she carry herself for people to even begin to think that she could be having an affair? The proud people of Kwahu are not prepared to put up with someone who carries himself in such a way as to lead people to suspect that he is less than honourable. They refuse to have a chief tainted with suspected acts of impropriety. Unlike the government sector where office holders engage in acts of corruption, public and private disgraceful conduct and still shamelessly remain in office, the honourable and proud people of Kwahu have swiftly destooled their chief. His argument about having been gazetted does not hold water. He was gazetted because the kingmakers said he should be gazetted. They enstooled him first before taking steps to gazette him. In the same way, they will take steps to ungazette him after destooling him. One would have thought that the destooled chief would be hiding his head in shame. It is undignified of a son of Kwahu land to be jumping up and down and carrying on, screaming and drawing attention to himself after bringing the name of his people into disrepute. Maybe, he wasn’t an omanhene material in the first place.

His name and position in the national house of chiefs would be expunged from gazzette. Kwahus are appealing to the new government to keep away from this chieftaincy disputes. If an Omanhene has no intergrity and fell afoul of the state's law,during the last government, it does't mean that, he is cleanse from disbad deed.

Truth is this whole thing was orchestrated from the onset to trap the young king because he wasn't kotowing to them. These evil king makers with Bryan as the Gang leader planned this all along and pinned it on this young man. That's the bitter truth. Do we want to sit and wait for power hungry politicians to destroy our rich heritage also? They have destroyed the economy and now want to also destroy our rich cultural heritage. Prior to this issue who heard of any negative issue about this young king? So why should this man be crucified over an issue that is alleged? Otumfuo and other paramount chiefs also have serious issues through private dealings but nobody has brought it to light. This shameful act is wrong from all angles and should not be encouraged.

KWAHU - ABENE : Yesterday, thugs, spearheaded by Bryan Acheampong, broke into the palace of the Paramount Chief of Kwahu, vandalizing property. The following day, they claimed to have installed a new chief.

This act, orchestrated by Bryan Acheampong — the MP notorious for land grabbing and his failed attempt to take over SSNIT hotels — is a blatant display of greed and abuse of power.

Bryan, once a friend of Daasebre, turned against him after Daasebre refused to hand over vast Kwahu lands. Since then, he has used his wealth and influence to try every means to destool Daasebre. He’s bribed chiefs with between GHS150,000 and GHS50,000 to support his agenda. Those who couldn’t be bribed faced manipulation through their subordinates. The level of evil is beyond comprehension.

Due to his behaviour, the Paramount Chief, filed a lawsuit months ago with a hearing scheduled for this Tuesday. Instead of waiting for the court’s decision, these thugs took matters into their own hands yesterday for obvious reasons.

This calculated takeover is to install a puppet chief he can use to control Kwahu lands.

And shockingly, all of this current things are happening under the new NDC government, which many hoped would restore morality to our society. How did these thugs break into a palace without response from law enforcement. I’m beginning to believe reports that Bryan donated ghc10 million to the NDC campaign.

Thankfully, the Eastern Regional House of Chiefs have read between the lines and have Daasebre’s support. Obviously it can happen to any of them.

When the rich can buy anything and anyone, the entire society suffers. This is the same Bryan Acheampong who has repeatedly prioritized greed over the well-being of the people, taking lands from farmers and pushing his selfish agenda. Kwahu deserves better.

Please go and check this page called Kwahu Ambassador which covered the event and you will see the negative comments under it. Word on ground is that the king makers brought someone from America on Saturday to enstool also. There were also about 30 other people that the king makers of Kwahu took money from with the promise enstooling them also. So now the Esono Gyimah Mampong Agei stool is now for the highest bidder. What a shame!!!
