I used to travel over 40km to work and left home at 4 am just to arrive before 8am. The sad thing is that, those who were staying very close to the workplace were showing up after 9am and thanks to government work culture and undisciplined bosses, the tardiness went unchecked.

This is our problem in Ghana. When people do wrong we forgive them without punishment. I listened to Mr Domelovo on the KSM show the other day and he reiterated the need for leadership and maintaining discipline in order to succeed as a nation. We cannot expect people to come to work on time when leaders don't respect time. It's high time we do away with the foolish talk of "African time or Ghana Man Time (GMT)". I repeat the Minister should be dismissed to set an example to others. We need to reset not only the economy but also our mind and attitude to work.
