  The names you mentioned were those used by the US to push out Nkrumah from power but remember that the coup was highly successful due to Ghanaians acceptance on that fateful day, right or wrong?
  
  I was a little boy when the first coup happened, and the jubilation was unstoppable. Gradual push against the coup became apparent due to our understanding of our environment and the news we read from different sources.
  
  To me, the only mistake our first president did was to ruffle feathers with the colonial powers then because they were all over the world and remember that Ghana was the only country handed over to him on March 6th, 1957, and not the entire continent of Africa.
  
  Even when Nkrumah was pushing that African unity, some of the leaders then were not on his side, and I hope you know that. He should have taken a "gradual" approach because Ghana wasn't that developed enough then, so why trying to unite the second largest continent at that time when the colonial powers were there, and some countries were not independent?
  
  Look at how some leaders on the continent were killed under the instruction of the colonial powers and I do not need to mention them here. We have to thread gradually because these people are full of malice.
  
  Right now, look at Congo, and who is/was behind the never-ending chaos engulfing the whole area? The situation is beyond us.
  
  If Nkrumah had not taken that hasty approach of "United Africa", he would have served his term by implementing whatever policies he had for Ghana because Ghana was the only country handed over to him on March 6th, 1957.
