The Ho airport is probably the most irrational governmental decision ever taken. Instead of constructing that airport why not use the money to build a first class road to the regional capital. Ho is barely two and a half hours drive by car and at most 20 minutes flight from Accra. Is it really necessary to build an airport for a 20 minutes trip. Besides, where are the passengers to fill an aircraft for the trip to Ho? Now they want to convert the the airport to a pilot training center having realized that the investment was a failure. I hope this will serve as a lesson for all future infrastructure investments across the country. We need to make cost/benefit analysis before investing in projects and not act emotionally.

So true. A first class road or railway from Accra to Ho would have been much better. Anyway, the airport is now there so let's see if we can do something positive out of it. But as said, let this be a lesson for the future.

The main road to the regional capital is in a deplorable state and one needs 20 hours or more to travel from Accra to Wa with your fatherland Bole on the way. You looked elsewhere and the indigenes struggle every day to ply it. Stop this cry baby behaviour and get to work.
