They didn't go through any exams or enlightenment process. The Akans were carried from their houses to become police men and women. We the Ewes were denied. Afenyo Markins, the tide has changed.   On the concern expressed about the lack of any new fire tender in the past 10 years, I believe that the Ghana National Fire Service under the leadership of the Minister should exercise an innovative approach to the problem. I believe the head of the fire trucks should be looked at separately from the mechanism that pressurizes the water. The domestication of that technology should be pursued with local engineering fabricators so as to resolve the problem for non-sophisticated tenders, which are in the majority.
