  What is bothering the sports ministry is lack of adequate finances to support all the various disciplines.There are competent people manning all the disciplines under sports so there won’t be much direct involvement of the sports minister in the day to day affairs of the various disciplines.So appointing the man is no problem but what the ministry needs is much allocation of funds from the government.
