  If an armed robber breaches your residential security at midnight will you wait until he rather shoots you and your family before you'll take them for serious? I've watched videos in which the Obuase West NDC women's organiser incited the zongo party members and assured them that they would have access to the AGA concession if Mahama won the election. She assured them that their gov't would dos everything to ansure that they get access soon after the electio . They waited for a while after the election and swearing in of JM as president, but didn't hear any update of the promise so they couldn't wait any longer.The young regional minister designate must not bring their childish politics into this case because it's simply untenable. The group of 300 who invaded the property could have been shot by the soldiers and nothing could be done to aswage the loss. This is pure political manipulation by NDC and nothing else.

  In Ghana truth has been shelved because of politics. If such a character is coming to govern ashanti region then we are in trouble. Sometimes it's better you shut up rather than blowing hot air on the people. All mining workers go to work through the main gate and exit by the same gate even though there are other gates. There are other gates meant for vehicles and not every vehicle is allowed to enter the premises not even workers vehicles because there's car park for them. These protocols are there to guide workers and visitors as well. These protocols also help to identify intruders or trespassers. If these intruders or trespassers are not illegal miners then who are they ? If they are not illegal miners why did they brake fence wall and entered the concession at that hour ? Why are we supporting illegality ? This particular mine was completely closed down for some years before it was reopened and given employment to the youth and because of some few people's stomachs,galamseyers must have a field day on AGA concession? Obuasi became a ghost town after the closure of the mine and life is picking up in the town now that company is in operation and everything must be done to protect the company. The simple analysis is between the two, the AGA company and the illegal miners, you say they might not be, but I insist that they are, which of them must the government protect? We are always beating about the bush because we don't to call a spade a spade. What was their mission when they entered the concession which doesn't belong to any of them. The interesting aspect of the whole thing is that should he become the regional minister and he wants to visit the company, he won't go and brake the fence wall or will enter through the back door. It's nauseating to see how they are pampering the survivors as if they were on national assignment and disaster struck them. In any serious country, these survivors will be under arrest and assist in the investigations but here we are the company rather is being held responsible for the unfortunate incident.

  Am wondering if this young medical officer can be honest with himself it is better he keeps quiet on some of these things and must not be influenced by money
  He is too young to fall for the illegal and small scale miners
