Why must an honorable member of Parliament nominated by the President be vetted again by his own and equal Parliamentary colleagues? In many other jurisdictions,the nominee simply bows to his colleagues and is then approved.The vetting is just a waste of tax payers' money and another waste of valuable time that would have been used for very important Parliamentary work.We all know that all MPs will be approved anyway,So where is this Hypocrisy from? An MP is supposed to be honorable even if he is an alleged murderer or a crook.The courts are there to deal with that.Vetting is for non MPs who are nominated by the president.Once the President norminates an MP,elected by his constituents,he is more that qualified to be a minister.This procedure is now a flow show for Afenyo Markin to satisfy his narcissistic character of power craze and his compelling attitude of being seen by force.One fine Saturday,Afenyo should by locked in Accra Sports Stadium,with Tv3 and Joy News cameras on him and allowed to say as a pleases two straight days.No spectators,no body else in the Stadium except his sorry as.I bet him,he will be cured of the sickness and parliament will be better

This is the second time Adaklu is getting a Road minister in the 4th Republic. Unlike Steve Akorli who wasted the opportunity given to the people of Adaklu, I strongly believed Mr. Agbodza would do marvelously well.
