Even though I know the NPP would use it against him (Mahama) but I kinda agree with Charles Owusu on this - the government MUST NOT encourage betting, therefore the betting tax should rather be hiked, not abolish

Was he not overthrown and died in exile in Conak? I have never liked Mahama to be the President because he has been there before and Ghanaians know how corrupt and murderous he became. At least Akua Donkor gave us a hint of who we should ask about the murder or death of Mills.

I set aside a small amount to get every weekend. 50 Ghana cedis every week . That’s very “small “money for me . I don’t drink much, the whole of 2024 , I didn’t drink any beer. I don’t smoke neither. I work hard and bet 50 cedis every weekend. I won 40 000 cedis last two years from betting. I used it to purchase a piece of land at koforidua. I have many hardworking friends who bet. I know professionals who bet; I have a friend whose a medical doctor at korle bu who stakes bets on weekends.

Who told you people we are lazy? Don’t you dare. Many of us reinvest what we win into our businesses and make other good investments. You politicians don’t help us in this country. We find ways to make a better life for ourselves and you say all sorts of nonsense.
