Firstly, the seating arrangement of MPs at committees is all wrong. It’s should be in circular, with nominee at the centre. On the rich of the chairmanship are majority starting from Deputy to the lowest ranking of majority and on the left should be minority ranking to the lowest. Every MP is entitled to ask questions for 5 minutes and no more, starting from seniority. No come back question from any MP. If you want more answers from nominee, you write to him/ her. Then debate it on the flow n vote on it. No question from the public as you have your MP to represent you on the floor n ask questions or write to the nominees. This will cut down those Afenyo dramatics and statements turn questions

The experts should go and contest elections and become members of the appointment committee.
The chairman of the committee should stick to the 11 membership and also limit the duration for questioning and the micro minority leader must be given 1 hour ask his questions.
The first vetting was too rancours and non professional.
Why question an old man like Hon. Ayine for that long.
Afenyo must be checked.

What have experts to do with ministerial vetting? You don’t need to be an expert in the ministry you are going to head. All you need is to be a good manager!
In fact, Public Admin fundamentals teach us that if a professional is made Minister of a ministry his profession belongs to, e.g., a doctor to head MoH, his focus will be on his technical side, paying little attention to the rest of the ministry.
So CDD, all we need is a good manager, not an expert!
NOTE: When I use “he/him/his”, I automatically include women, after all God used the rib of a man to make a woman.

It's good idea. It will bring on board competency, show no partisanship and bring out the best in the person in the dock to see if he/she is capable of the office he/she is to occupy.

When we hear proposals and suggestions coming from these groups, the first thing that comes to mind is, where were all these people when Akufo Addo appointment more than 120 ministers? Let us say they were taken by surprise in Nana Addo's first term appointments; what proposals did they make when he was about to make his 2 term appointments?
No one doubts views on how to improve our vetting processes but when the thinking faculties are only illuminated when certain group of people are at helm of affairs and these are what irritate those who share ideas with them and even those on the sidelines.
Can you compare the responses and performances made by Ato Folson, Dominic Alyine and John Jinapor to Ofori Atta, Gloria Akufo and Kyremanteng respectively in their vettings?
Who say the CDD is credibly enough to be given such task. If anything at all, in sincerity and honesty can you grade Madam Jean Mensah, a stalk of CDD, in her performance as Electoral Commissioner, a 2.5 on the scale of 10?
You people should first render profuse apologies to Ghanaians for letting them down the time they needed you most which lapse enabled their freedoms to be curtailed and to endure 8 years of economic strangulation.
