This LGBTQI+ Nonsense is an uncomfortable issue. Almost no President in Ghana would want to be associated with it and Foh Amoaning must just learn to understand it. From his family background at ADADIENTEM and Kyebi who are seriously conservatives, l knew from the very beginning that Akuffo Addo would not want to have anything to do with this issue. Mr. Foh is an Albino and understands how many families in Ghana would not want them to be married to their members. There are some areas where families don’t want their children to play with Albino children. Foh you know this very well. I remember you attended NUGS Conference at UCC In 1985 when you were a Law student at Legon. I remember nobody wanted to share a room with you or share a seat with you when you went to the Cafeteria. Some Chop Bars at that time did not want to serve Albinos and some Chop Bar owners threw away the bowls that Albinos ate from if finally the owners or servers decided they to serve them. I have young ladies and men as children and I don’t think I will ever support any of them becoming LGBTQI+ person. I can’t kill any such child but will surely disown the one if he or she decides not to change. I. know some LGBTQI people cannot easily change but that should not be acceptable to me because of my culture and very upbringing. Kleptomania is a very strange and bad abnormality but that doesn’t mean it should be acceptable.
Growing up, l saw some LGBTQI+ people being looked down upon, called names and made fun of.
Mahama is from the North where LGBQI is not least tolerated because most people from that area are Moslems which sees that sexual orientation as sinful and very much undesirable and unacceptable.
Some Ghanaians don’t care about LGBTQI but the issue became different when they started to ask for the same rights as married couples. The USA and the Western World can’t push it on the throats of Africans Let them try pushing such rights in Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq and the United rest of the Islamic World and see what will happen.
Mahama is from the Moslem North and there is no way he can sign any law to give recognition to LGBTQI+ people. It will just not happen now. Perhaps in the next Millennium. Some Ghanaians don’t care about LGBTQI so long as they don’t demand recognition as married people, and don’t show it in public. My neighbor at ATL of GA got shot dead a couple of days ago when she went to date in an Anti Gay area. She is dead and gone and Almighty Democratic Uncle Sam did not show that much interest in her murder.
I can confidently say that Mahama will not sign any such law as Akuffo Addo did not sign any such law for LGBTQI to be recognized and socially accepted.

You claim that if it is that simple why is Mahama running away from the bill? How long has Mahama been in office for you to hold him to the same standard as Akufo Addo on this issue? If by the time Mahama is about to finish his term he still hasn't done anything on the anti LGBT Bill, yes we should hold him and his entire NDC party to the same standard as we did against Akufo Addo and the NPP.
