From what I have observed via the media in the past few months, Sammy Gyamfi is an astute legal brain, an above par political technocrat and an intellectual colossus.

The NDC has somehow, but not surprisingly, attracted an invaluable crop of young men and women upon whom this country can rely on or look forward to, for a much brighter future - that is, if they do not succumb to the prevailing circus of short-sighted materialism for which the .Nkwasiafuor Peoples Party (NPP) proudly carry the banner.

Included in that crop are young politicians of the likes of Okudjeto Ablakwa, Sam George, Shamima Muslim and surprisingly Ms Ebi Bright who under very strange circumstances is said to have lost the attempt to win a parliamentary seat in Tema. These young people are a joy to watch as they wax lyrical on the state of the nation. They revitalize our long dead hopes and bring renewed hopes for the future of this country.

Sadly but to be expected, the Nkwasiafuor Peoples Party (NPP) do not parade the same quality of promising youth. Rather, they harbour fearful degenerates of the ilk of Napo, Wontumi and Palgrave.

I think the NDC will be in power for a long time yet to come.

If the Minister who is appointed to that Ministry is not as smart and ideologically sharp in his worldview opinions as Sammy Gyamfi appears to be, then suffice it to say, Sammy will suffer from stunted growth as the CEO of the PMMC.

I do not know what the NDCs overall game plan is, but what the PMMC would need at this point in time is a reliable, loyal, hyper-efficient technocrat and not an outstanding political functionary as a CEO. The redevelopment of the functions of the PMMC can then be supervised by the Party principles of an equally astute Minister/ministry.

Anyway,etc see how things pan out.

Ghanaian politicians - Create, Loot and Share. The biggest problem in Ghana is that since independence we always put square pegs in round holes. What is this guy taking to where he's going - PMMC? What the political parties do is to put their members who FOUGHT for them to come to power to positions where they can create, loot and share! At the end of their ruling, where are going to hear exactly what we are hearing about the NPP today. As I write a person like Alfred Woyomi is walking a free man, I won't be surprised if he's given a position in government. All our politicians are the same.

Ghanaian politicians - Create, Loot and Share. The biggest problem in Ghana is that since independence we always put square pegs in round holes. What is this guy taking to where he's going - PMMC? Our politicians don't fight to come to power because they love Ghana, NEVER! They fight to come to power so they can loot the nation for their own good and that of their families. I pity those ignorant citizens who put their lives on the line for Ghanaian politicians. If you are a sincere person you can never involve yourself in politics in Ghana.
