You can pay or buy an ezpass which gives you a discount i think you can research tolls in the tri-state infact entering Canada from America must pay a toll at the US border. Such revenues can be used to maintain and widen several of these inter regional highways and regional roads across the country

I think the road tolls should be added to the road-worthy certificates. This will ensure every road user pays tolls in Ghana. This would ensure revenues accrue to the government monthly. A system should be infused into the dvla system that would guarantee efficient revenue collection from the road-worthy certificate payments. Cars entering Ghana would need to buy a road-worthy certificate at the point of entry. The current system of road toll collection is quite problematic( theft, misappropriation, diversion of funds, traffic, safety etc.)

Bringing the Road Toll back is stupidity and aimed at scoring political points. But that is a bad news cos it will create mor traffic on our roads. Can't they figure out a better way of raising tax?

Get the IT and computer guys to develop a software and payment should be electronic any road that has a loan component must be taxed and potion of the toll allocated to a code for the area
Part of the toll will be for loan repayments maintenance and payment of salaries
Standards must be set and any portion not properly maintained does not get a portion of its grants
This will generate jobs and there should be decentralization
