  Which is better, creating jobs, for parents to get money to take care of their wards or providing us freebies so that politicians can use procurement mechanisms to loot the state? I keep saying Free SHS should be for day students as done in even advanced countries, boarding schools should be fee paying. Any time there is free, politicians use it to fleece the country. Create conducive job environment so that people get employed and when people get employed they can be able to pay for their wards education. Ghana is developing country, stop the free this and free that and don't make lazy citizens. Create jobs, get people employed. We are fed up with the idea of providing social interventions which is avenue for the politicians to steal from the people.
  Again instead of providing free menstrual pads for school, another procurement avenue for stealing, why don't you simply remove the taxes on it to reduce the prices drastically? Simple logic.

  Hon Ato Free SHS will continue with modifications. Please let us increase day schools in the communities. Tema Secondary school is the only boarding school in the whole Tema metropolis. There are about 4 to 5 public day SHS schools which are doing extremely well. Boarding facility is expensive so it is a privilege. So please look at it closely. What Akufo Addo did was 'ma try ma kwe'.Thank you.
