If you really understand accounting and finance you would be ashamed of the Ato Forson.He was quoted verbatim with figures and source.He made those statements,and what Gideon sought to do was to find out from him where he got those figures from cos it definitely wasn't from the MOF that he quoted.Now Ato Forson comes now and says the IMF even put the figures at 6.3% on cash basis.Did he quote the imf then?NO.So where did he get his 7.8% from? Obviously not from MOF as records till today shows it is 9.3%.Let's also remember cash basis is different from accrual basis and the figures may always be different as accounting are treated differently.
