The huge Ivorian Cathedral is built, NOT in Abidjan City, but in Yammassoukro. Two & half hours' drive from Abidjan. Accessibility in there, is by a fast "auto-route", similar to the Accra-Oyarifa-Damfa dual carriage highway. It is reachable same, from the North. The cathedral is situated directly opposite a huge official residence of "Le Vieux" the popular name for their cherished 1st President, Houpheit Boignye. In effect, all officialdom, protocols, security and medevacs, among others, will be guaranteed. Another asset in there too is the Aburi Gardens, added to the God given visible mountainous terrain. Hope there will be money though.

Millions of Ghanaians are sleeping rough because they can't get proper accommodation. Millions of Ghanaians have to queue at public toilets and bath houses to shit and to bath everyday. Millions of Ghanaians cannot access proper medical care either because there are no beds, or, they can't afford treatment or there simply aren't any medical facilities in sight in many parts of the country. The quantum of our main export earner, cocoa, has fallen by more than half. Our Cedi is practically the worse performing currency in the basket of other shit hole currencies in Africa and you have the guts and the nerves to be still talking about a national cathedral when there is some kind of noisy church or the other on almost every road in this country?

Mahama please don't you start. We have had it up to our eyeballs with dishonest and unfocused politicians who think that the minute we vote for them to win power, then the country instantly becomes their bona fide property. Today you are having a Christian Thanksgiving Service at the UPSA. You and your team are not even ashamed of the venue. Ghana, predominantly, a Christian Majority does not even have a National Church or a National Cathedral. France has Notre Dame. Nigeria has a National Cathedral, and so is the USA. But in Ghana, you and your team were against it for political reasons. A National Cathederal does not necessarily have to be a big project. Even if it is situated on a 3 plots of land, Christians will appreciate.

It doesn't make sense to leave a land which has already been cleared and excavated to a new land to repeat those processes when you claim you have limited resources. Economics won't agree with that. Again I saw the NDC applauding him when he said food (imported by previous government) will be evacuated from Tema warehouses to feed SHS students. Wasn't that mediocre? There's nothing special in ordering the evacuation of food. Akufo-Ado fed the students without any media spotlight yet you said he did nothing. Interesting times ahead.
