And the military regime of Burkinabes is helping the economy to boost their economy? Take your democracy and they take their military government and we live as good neighbours. How can anyone in his or her right mind continue to depend on the laughably inefficient and corrupt ballot box system of choosing leaders in Ghana? Over 4 months after the official election day in Ghana, they have collated, recollated, gone in and out and back in to courts yet-still, they can't resolve final results. Today, the two main parties have been embroiled in fisticuffs at the EC.

Even electocracy -- which is all just a matter of holding general elections every four years -- they can't organise it without stealing, killing and destruction! Kleptocracies can never ever organise elections without the whole process being characterised and defined by sordid acts like bloated voter registers; snatching and stealing of ballot boxes; pink sheets turning out different figures for the one and same polling centre; killing of voters; soldiers storming polling centres; police officers aiding and abetting in stuffing ballot boxes; polling centre results having to go through seemingly endless rounds of collation and re-collation and over-collation! Even when electoral grievances go to court, the rulings tend to almost always bear distinctive marks of ... kleptocracy!

Organising elections in an African electocracy is as so close to staging a coup d'etat as to make wonder why they do not stick to military coups as the method of changing governments! After all, elections in some of these electocracies and kleptocracies tend to be bloodier and more violent than military coups!
