One expectation which JDM and his government cannot fail Ghanaians is reducing many taxes he and his party strongly fought against and campaigned to cancel are covid-19 tax just because covid-19 is no more why NPP government continue to collect tax on it, betting tax and ',almighty' E-levy. He will do a great deservice to Ghanaians if JDM maintain these taxes. The expectations are high and no excuses will be entertained by majority of Ghanaians. Yes Ghanaians have short memories but we won't forget your promises so soon. I heard JDM in his speech saying that covid-19 affected world economy but NDC refused to accept the fact that Ghana's economy has also been affected by the pandemic. This clearly shows double standards element in his statement and it also confirms what JDM said in his campaign messages that, when campaigning, you say whatever that will give you votes to win power. Now you have won power and the people are expecting you to deliver on your promises. Don't deceive your supporters especially floating voters who voted for you based on your promises.

We know your strengths and weaknesses and after staying in opposition for 8 years, personally I haven't seen anything new under JDM's sleeves. JDM wants to enter into history books that he also served 8 years but not 4 years. I heard the president saying that the constitution will be amended or reviewed yes but he shouldn't attempt to extend his mandate as he has been sworn in to serve a 4 year term nothing less, nothing more. Even if the term is extended, it should start from 2029 after his exit. Eyes are watching.
