If you think 10 heads of state is a relatively small number to be present, then clearly you are not fully aware of the monumental logistics, tight security and first-class accommodation obligations that it requires to host even one foreign head of state. And as I continue to stress, the Dept of State Protocol that used to efficiently handle such matters and was one of the best of its kind in the world, has in the past few years suffered from a considerable drop of competence and standards to the point that their presence is no more felt. Let us just hope that all goes well on the day.
