I urge the incoming President to do away with this practice. After all a well drilled security detail is enough to forestall any mishap.
I recall when someone from behind in an indoor event which was been addressed by Prince Charles then, made an attempt to physically attack Prince Charles but his attempt was thwarted by security men sitting strategically close to the podium.
