For me, day schools should be entirely free while boarders must pay for the boarding component and enjoy everything else that the day student enjoys for free. The completion of the day school E-blocks will be a good starting point.

It costs more than the government is telling us and this makes the programme unsustainable. 10 intelligent students are better than 100 foolish students. Focus on quality rather than quantity.

Day school is free but you must pay for your uniform. The school must make money. In my catholic high school we wore ties n white shirt in class. On Fridays we wore Street clothes lol. But students had to buy a tie n cardigan/sweater that was mandatory n if you are late or caught not dressing well u pay a fine or detention. I learnt how to fix a tie in high school

The VP elect says not all high schools should be part of the free SHS policy, because those those attend Class A schools must pay fees. It was the desire to abolish the class society that led the Late Jerry John Rawlings to stage both the 1979 and 1981 coips. Those who don't think of the wellbeing of their fellow citizens simply because they're poor, will definitely pay for their actions in future because Ghanaians may be taken for fools but it can't remain so forever.

The Professor failed to give her estimated cost. Somebody has run this policy for 8 years. over 5 million kids have benefited from it including my son, so if the one who promised to add private schools to it and the good old NDC professor hailed him cannot continue it she should advice him to cancel it.
God willing NPP will come 2028 and implement it
