I did my National Service at Tamale. Almost all the people I graduated with who came from the Northern Sector lobbied to be stationed at the South, especially at Accra, Tema, Kumasi, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Sunyani. Many of us from the South were stationed at places like Nyongili Sabzugu Tatale,, Bawku, Navrongo and some villages and Hamlets in the North. At that time, those people had had Free Education all their lives at the North while those of us from the South had to pay even when our parents could not afford. Can you imagine Mahama and Bawumia going to school all their lives for free when their parents were extremely rich? I support that people should not have their National Service at regions and places that they don’t want to have it. Let people have their National Service at areas or regions where they grew up and where they were taken care of. Yes, l think that that would be fair.

Where were you when Akufo Addo was entrenching tribalism? Where were you, Yankah, when Akufo Addo dismembered Ghana by creating new regions based on tribes and not efficiency?

Stop that nonsense. The Government should try to stop this dupe. I wish Ghanaians should be smart and leave this crook alone. Just ignore his adverts.

A nice idea but a burden on parents. My son did national service in the Eastern region (not his home region). I had to establish him in the town he was posted to. Accommodation, furniture and beds, a TV and kitchen ware. The allowance came 4 months late at which time I had to give him monthly stipend. When the allowance started being paid it was nothing to suffice him in the month. So, if he were at home, the initial establishment costs would have been saved. He would have been eating from same port with me so no extra costs in feeding. Unless those matters are addressed it is more economical for parents to have their children do the service from home.

My brothers and sisters it is time we put Ghana first than Npp and Ndc. Since 1992 we have not got a good leader who to think, plan and solved the problem of this country.
These are my reasons: 1. Each year fire outbreaks at market no solution .
2. Each year they will come out to give the number of people who lost their life from car accident
3. Each Bokina Faso will opened their Dam which destroyed our farms and properties .
ALL THIS NO PRESIDENT HAVE THINK TO STOP THIS THREE ISSUE.
PUT YOUR NPP AND NDC AWAY BECAUSE ANY TWO THIS CAN HAPPEN TO YOU OR FAMILY MEMBER .

True, we have abandoned Nkrumah's strategies for national integration. I had my 2 year National Service at the erstwhile Advanced Teacher Training College, formerly Kwame Nkrumah Ideological Institute, now UEW, in Winneba. It was a great experience. We opened the Colleges Business Studies Department in 1977. Mr Essel from Agona Swedru and one other were the Heads of Department.
A new learnt to admire the Aboakyere Festival that drew tourists from all over the world. The beach visits were spectacular. So much fish to buy.
Thank you all my students of ATTC, Winneba. Thank you late Mr CJ Yanney and all for opening our eyes. Thank you Mr Robertson of the College's Administration. Such a dedicated worker.
