Needless call. Bagbin hates Mahama to the core. He felt it was his time to become President from the northern sector and not Mahama and has since hated Mahama.. Bag in was the first to accuse Mahama of running family and friends govt which became a mantra for the then opposition. Meanwhile, we a govt that is national in character. Why should we have both president and speaker from from the Northern sector. Above all, there are vibrant young men like Haruna whose chances will be blocked if Bagbin is retained. Bagbin's ambition to become president has made him a bitter person always engaging in power play. He wants to run a parallel executive in Parliament which is dangerous for our democracy.

So any Muslim at least for the next 10-15yrs in Ghana should contend for a Vice-President Position. Any Party that fields a Muslim for Flagebeaerer is giving the President freely away to the opposite Party!

He was the first person to accuse Mahama of family and friends government and gave folder to the NPP when he knew there was no basis for that. That will be Mahama's biggest mistake to make. His internal trouble will start with Bagbin as speaker. It will provoke the non-northers and non-akans and Bagbin will turn into a headmaster in the government, wanting everyone to bow to him. Mahama, don't make that mistake. He is dangerously poisonous.
