  We heard this in 1957, the future is bright, here we are over 60 years after that declaration. No one knows when that future will come so that Ghanaians would testify to it. The future is bright only for few people like speaker's grandchildren and other politicians' immediate family members. The rich are getting richer while the poor are still getting poorer.
