True, it is not new; but what is also not new are your blatant, shameless efforts as you are putting up now to rig some of the parliamentary elections in favour of the NPP! These rigging, nauseating machinations are not new because you demonstrated them most unashamedly in the 2020 elections. We all were witnesses to how you capped it all off with your refusal to testify in the Supreme Court!

There are, however, a few things that are new! One of them is that you, Jean Mensah, are the first time in the 4th Republic that we have had for electoral commissioner such resounding thievery, blatant duplicity, excessive incompetence, wanton carelessness all combined in one and the same person and at the same time and on such a gargantuan scale!

When you are out of office, which should be as soon as feasible, we hope and pray that we as a nation will never, and should never, ever be cursed with such an unscrupulous hopelessness like you for an electoral commssioner!

Is Jean MENSA saying that she and her colleagues do not know that from time to time different laws in the form of Constitutional Instruments(CIs) are issued by the Electoral Commission to govern the Presidential and Parliamentary elections?
This 2024 elections were governed by CI 127 issued by the EC in 2020 under the stamp and signature of Jean Adukwei MENSAH as Chairperson of the EC. In this CI 127 which governed the 2020&2024 elections, there is no provision for RECOLLATION. Indeed in 2020, when the NDC demanded a Re-Collation of the Techiman South constituency disputed election, the EC wrote back to the NDC pointing out to the NDC that under CI 127, there was no room for RECOLLATION of results. The EC letter showed the NDC to the door to the High Court if they were aggrieved about the outcome of the Techiman South declaration. How hypocritical can Jean MENSA and the crooked EC can be in pointing to 2004 some 20years ago when elections were held under a different CI which allowed for RECOLLATION of election results to argue for criminal conduct they have engaged in this year. This gang of CRIMINALS must be shown the exit away from the EC before they plung the whole country into an INFERNO!!

Even one polling station cannot be ignored because a candidate can win with one vote so if that is the case, EC has been fair and transparent in that regard. If NDC is not satisfied, they can proceed to seek redress in court with all the pink sheets in their custody as evidence. The instances given by the EC, where it favoured NDC they didn't accuse EC boss then or was it because Ec boss was a man ? If you loose, you loose accept it in good faith and allow the step of action take its course.

Many people would not understand why Bawumia quickly conceded defeat and congratulated JM at the time there were no official results declared. In fact, there was no requirement under the election laws for him as a losing candidate to concede defeat.
Since we started elections in the 4th republic, no losing candidate had ever conceded defeat and congratulated the winning presidential candidate as Bawumia did. There must be a special reason for this. As an insider and the eventual beneficiary of NPP diabolical plans with the EC to rig the election for him, his conscience was troubled that Ghana would likely go up in flames on his head if the NPP plan should come into effect. So to abort this evil plan, he came out unusually quickly to concede defeat.
Signs of this aborted evil plan by the NPP and the EC can be seen in the rather uncharacteristically long delay in announcing the results, the resolute manner the EC is now reversing some of the already announced parliamentary results in favour of NPP and how some NPP stalwarts are condemning Bawumia for his very early concession, an action they consider needless. Nothing is impossible to the tacit EC-NPP alliance but Bawumia took the wind out of their sail by going ahead of the EC to declare the true results that he had lost to JM.
