  How does one “re-pass” a law which is already on the books? Why are we willy-nilly marching our economy into a ditch? Do we have the shock absorbers to withstand the economic chokehold the west will impose on us?

  Like a friend suggested to me recently, maybe we should send marriage certification process down to the traditional authorities first, before they can be taken to court for full registration, knowing fully well that no traditional authority would certify a gay marriage. Therein we kill the gay thing in its strides. If you don’t like gays, just don’t marry one, as they too don’t want to marry you. My fear is, we might just about set on the slippery road to criminalize all moral sins, like adultery and fornication.
  
  What would we do with men who do anal sex with their female partners? Some do, especially when the women are in their menses. Who is going to police that? Let’s proceed cautiously. We can let this bill die and still maintain our traditional frowns and restraints on same-sex activities without any added drama.
  
  We shouldn’t poke the bear to come and devour and destroy our nkoko nketekete economy. The money we would spend on jailing same-sex partners can be spent on promotion of our traditional values and norms on same-sex activities in our schools and communities.

  If this was the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the President would put his signature one minute after the document was placed in front of him. Foreign interference would be nil. As they say in Ghana, anyone trying to hinder or obstruct what appears to be the will of the majoirity of the citizens in that Kingdom would smell pepper- just saying!

  I think this Sky guy is a gay. When l said it someone told me he is married but that is just to deceive unsuspecting public. He can do anything with both sexes. He should repent.

Try it and see the consequences. You go explain tire. 90% of the new government's time and energy will shift from resource mobilisation and investment to manging the fallout of human rights abuses. You cannot control or punish rape, and you want to police consensual see.
