John Tema, after election, EC at Head Office don't have any control over Parliamentary candidates but only on Presidential. It is only the Presiding Officer who have the mandate and oversight in Parliamentary in the constituency. If the other opposing person or persons see that there is discrepancies in the election, the other body that can have any say is High Court. So what Jean Mensah and Tetteh are doing is absolutely not lawful. An example is in 2008 when there was some problem in Tain, Afari Gyan ordered rerun in Presidential but not Parliamentary in Tain. Presiding Officer in Tema has declared Ebi Bright already, what concern did Jean Mensah have again
The law must take it's course, if the matter goes to court and Ebi Bright lose, the election will be revert to the winner. It happened in 1996 in Ayawaso West Wougon.

My dear Sister and beautiful Joana, your resilience, courage paid off. You have indeed shamed our electoral commission. Well done to you all. Serve with honesty , dignity and respect for yourself , ghana and your very important constituents. Make a change in their lives, you might not do all in one parliamentary session but lay foundations to build strong footprints that will stand to prove your devotion and service to your loved constituents who gave you their mandate to represent them. I pray that parliament at its first sitting in the 9th parliament will pass a law that calls for all projects commissioned by akuffo addo and bawumia 2 weeks before election , all the wall plaques should be changed and their names removed to only read commissioned by the GOOD PEOPLE OF GHANA. IT WAS THE BIGGEST INSULT TO ALL GHANAIANS. They thought that will win them votes. No politician should ever insult ghanaians.
