The highways must be safe for travellers and service deliveries. Financial institutions and strategic economic infrastructures must be protected 24 hours, 7 days for the next 4 years.

One more thing, your explanation of 24-hour economy is different from what you promised Ghanaians. You said you will provide 24-hour security for business to run day and night. 3 shifts in government departments, 24-hour discotheques (ridiculous though), etc. You ran away from the debate but you can run away from your own shadow now. A lot of workers don't necessarily bring onboard the desired economic profit and progress.

President-Elect Mahama, the 24-hour economy is not some magic wand that will instantly revive the economy.

It's a demand and supply issue. When many citizens have strong purchasing power, their demand for goods and services increase. The increased demand naturally triggers increased production and supply. That's when 2 and 3 shifts become necessary.

IT IS NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND.

You give incentives to producers of goods and services to increase supply, and citizens do not patronise,or buy, because they do not have the money, producers will certainly make loses and will revert to the 1 shift system.

The 24-hour economy you see in developed countries have EVOLVED over long periods.

Please get good education on this and do not throw our scarce resources down the drain. The Agbesi Woyomes, Ationu Tamakloes, and the many other crooks in the NDC will rush to take the incentives and have nothing to show at the end of the day.
