Smith is more than right. Ghana cannot challenge the West. Nkrumah tried and that led to his overthrow. When Efo Jeremiah John Rawlings foolishly followed the Madman of the Sahara Desert, what happened to Ghanaians and Ghana. We couldn’t have transportation and people walked from Suhum to Accra, Tema to Accra, Kwabere Sekyere to Kumasi, and Nkawkaw to Accra. That was not in the Prehistoric or Stone Age. Mahama should not just be ignorant and foolish to change the IMF. Spain is a member of NATO and a Western European Country but IMF almost made her go bankrupt. Let Mahama keep quiet so that IMF can be, and live, so that Ghana can also live.

The people trust you with their life, so please deliver and make them proud again. Mr. Mahama, lit the Pan-African torch again without any fear nor favour and take back Ghana to the Ghanaian. Renegotiate all corrupt business agreements the previous government have made with the white man and his foreign companies. Remove the white man's image from every children textbooks, products and educational platforms and replace it with an African image. Build more ideological centres with scholarships in other to promote inventions, industrialisation and nation building agenda. Promote more quality herbal based and African medicines and cut down the importation of foreign medicines and drugs. Do not involve any EU, UK or US company from any part of the world in health and medicine. Promote agriculture and local dishes, build more food processing plants and cut down on the importation of foreign foods and electronic products from the white man and his allies and equip the Ghana Standards Board with quality and efficient detective machines. Promote more Ghanaian/African contractors and financial institutions and give excavators and bulldozers to local districts and communities to build their own roads. Mr. Mahama, keep your EYES WIDE ON SECURITY across the length and breath of Ghana and stop the white man's companies and embassies from exploiting the Ghanaian/African.

What did this ignorant writer ate before sleeping? Ghana is a poor country that produces nothing. We import everything. We can’t even support our budget and are ruled by corrupt tribal politicians. Let me be frank with you that Ghana cannot succeed by spearheading Pan Africanism and waste our scarce resources as Nkrumah foolishly did and ruined Ghana’s economy.
If we want to renegotiate, that can be good if that can help the country but remember that the Western Powers will still determine the final analysis of any negotiations. The Ghanaians who shall do the renegotiations are even more corrupt and may worsen our financial and Social situations

It is not a joke when the Bible says beware of the WILES of the devil; and the tricky and corrupt institutions of the white man especially the top 4 (imf, world bank, un plus who) falls nothing short of that biblical verse. The same evil white man that oppressed, enslaved, exploited, tortured, killed and looted the old African is the same evil white man who built these international institutions to continue the same agenda on the new African. What better do you think can come from these strategically built organizations of the corrupt and evil white man?

When it comes to the Trans Atlantic Slave Trade, Colonization among other evils, l blame Africans more than Europeans. Who went to war, defeated and kidnapped who to sell? Europeans did not war in Africa to capture slaves. Africans went to war against each other and started selling their own to the Arabs before the arrival of the Europeans in Africa. Have you ever read about the Trans Saharan Slave Trade? We’re Europeans involved? Have you ever read about Uthman Dan Fodio and the Fulani Jihad? What about Mansa Musah who went to a Pilgrimage to Mecca with hundreds of thousands of Slaves that carried luggage and Gold ahead of him. What about the East African and the Indian Slave Trade that many of us have not heard of, or read about? Let us not always blame the Europeans for the Slave Trade in Africa. Let us blame the Arabs, the Indians and Africans especially because Africans went to wars against their own, captured defeated Africans and sold them to the the highest bidder.

I agree with you when you say Africans should be blamed for the slave trade. But to absolve the Europeans and keep Arabs in the blame, I don't agree. The Arabs, Romans/Byzantine, Persians empires all have their roles like the Europeans did. It's true we fought ourselves and captured one other in exchange of goods. The slave buyers needed human labor to develop their plantations, but the Africans needed gun powder to oppress one other. The evil we did was the capture and sale of our own, and the evil on the side of the Europeans was the cruel treatment of the slaves. Had they treated those slaves with dignity they would certainly have been on the better side of the history of slave trade than us Africans. However, we should be a little kind to our ancestors and acknowledge that slavery was widely practiced in every society around the world. The waging of war and capture of slaves happened in every corner of the world in the olden days. It was a 'survive or perish' period. The good thing is the world has evolve to accept that it's inhumane practice.

They did not steal from Ghana to make all of us suffer.
They did not pay themselves by giving fraudulent contracts to their relatives. They did not scramble for Ghana's wealth by hook or crook.
NPP looters go, NDC looters come. What is the difference, and why the jubilation?
Foxes have holes, birds of the air have nests, but Ghana has nowhere to lay her head.
As if it is strange, my grandmother used to say.
An old wine in new bottles. Latter-day saint Ghanaians, state property grabbers. They want to live the good life cheaply.
A land flowing with milk and honey, but either borrowing or asking for a handout all the time. How ridiculous and shameful!
It is the turn of the NDC to steal from Ghana. My fingers are crossed.
So sad!
