  Massa are you a stranger in Ghana politics ? This started way back in1992 with gifts like kako, buta, umbrella, salt etc and people started talking about it but those involved saw nothing wrong with it. This manace grew wings into money yes cash, first it was 'they say-they say' meaning it was done in secret places then later cash is given in the open with explanation that it was chop money, lorry fare etc. It didn't end there, distribution of electrical gadgets and electronics like hair dryers, phones, sewing machines, fans, TV sets etc. From this stage, I hear cars are given as inducement and what's pathetic is that these inducements don't happen only in general elections but internal elections as well. Those of us who are observing from afar are not surprised at all and the ironical aspect of the it is the fact that, these inducements have raised its ugly head in higher educational institutions. If you don't know now you know so don't be surprised and very soon houses will be built as an inducements. Ghana we dey, the more you pay/give, the more votes you get.

It is true, and both parties were guilty of this. However, it was worse with the NPP. Bawumia is a poor man by all standards. Unfortunately, this guy was running his campaign like a billionaire, dishing out money to NPP foot workers and mosques like there is no tomorrow. There should be stringent laws to regulate this greedy and selfish tactics politicians are adopting to win power. Bawumia should be made to account for the state money he used for his campaign.

  That's what the npp gurus were referring to as strategies!! Wontumi also told us there were 1000 ways of winning an election!! But I always thought there was only one way:- through the ballot box!!
