Don't blame the public or NPP,John Mahama made the name unattractive. The name Mahama became synonymous with Crime,Alcoholism and Womanising.Many landlords even did not want tenants called Mahama.

Some few years ago the logic of Sammy Gyamfi and Co was that all Akufo's are Nana Addo's family members. They were moving from one radio or TV station to the other propagating this to the extent they mentioned Sophia Akufo (then Chief Justice), Gloria Akufo (then Attorney General), Tiwaa Addo-Danquah etc. These names are not related to Nana Addo but we were made to believe they are blood related. What has changed about the same logic being applied by others that Callitus Mahama is related to John Mahama?
