  This is the first time I have participated as an election as party official and I will recommend that the current arrangements in the C1 on coalition must be thrown out into the rubbish can and frame a new law on election coalition. The EC and the political parties are both to be blame for the what we are seeing at the coalition centers. Hence forth there should be no ballot boxes and peppers at any coalition centers. Only the pink sheets should be brought to the coalition center.We should handover the ballot boxes with the seals to either the police or any independent body after pools for safe keeping. We have to guard the ballot boxes at different locations far from the coalition centers. The thugs can go and fight the police or whichever body in possession of the ballot peppers.

  These problems are being caused by the EC Returning officers in the constituencies failing to declare results as it is but playing to the dictates of failed MPs and EC REGIONAL AND national headquarters.
  A typical example is the Tepa issue. Because the Returning officer at the constituency is the girlfriend of the MP wha has lost, she is refusing to declare for the NDC. Meanwhile NDC has all PINK SHEETS from the various polling stations so they have the results. These are what is causing the unrests in the country. EC must whip it's appointees to behave and do the right thing.
