I am not an illegal miner because I understand the dangers that come with it, Nobody, I repeat, nobody in my family had ever engaged in galamsey because it is dangerous and comes with all health risks.

My point is, NDC had shifted the argument about galamsey unto NPP hence my defense. Mills and his government took a $3billion loan from China in which the lender inserted a clause making her citizens come to Ghana without any questioning being asked and the Mills government, which Mahama was the vice agreed to the loan.

So, who did what about galamsey? It was under NDC government headed by Mills when galamsey attracted international attention so, again, who did what about galamsey? When the Chinese came to Ghana, and with the help of their government, they came with machines which were novel to Ghanaians and that was the genesis of the destruction of our environment. Do we manufacture Chanfan machines in Ghana?

Also, remember that when Aisha Huang gained the "Title of Galamsey Queen" in Ghana, Mahama was the president, and why did he arrest the lady knowing the destruction she was causing? Because of the clause in the loan contract, make sense to you?

Abass, Ghana is the only nation we have, and we should do anything to "PROTECT IT" no matter what. This galamsey menace what swallowed all of us and the best we are doing is to "Just talk".
