It looks like Nana Akufo-Addo was against Value Added Tax (VAT) in 1995 and that was the reason why he joined others to demonstrate against it on 10th May, 1995.
He and John Kufuor promised that they will abolish VAT when they win the 2000 election.
However they increased it when they came to power.
The company for which I work performs 24 hours work at times.
Meaning in the 24 hours there is 8 x 3 shifts or 12 x 2 shifts.
