How can a small country like Ghana unite Africa ? Nkrumah didn't understand geo politics, otherwise he wouldn't have tried to solve the Vietnam impasse. Those were issues for the big powers. Instead of concentrating on developing Ghana, he was all over the place trying to appear bigger than he really was.

My friend, when intelligent and learned people are talking, unliberated obedient slaves like you should keep out of it. For your information, there was nothing like the Big Six. I know it is not possible for you but, if you had the ability to conduct a political audit of the so-called Big Six, you will, at the final analysis, realize that there was only a Big One - Kwame Nkrumah. The rest of the unproductive five did virtually nothing to merit or qualify them to even polish Nkrumahs shoes - much more, any expectations of their ability to contribute to the independence struggle.

Just like the educated elite of today's Ghana, they felt that the people of Ghana owe them respect and adulation simply because of their disoriented and hence, useless tertiary qualifications. They were so useless that, Paa Grant, the sole founder and sponsor of the UGCC, became worried and had to discreetly consult Ako Adjei if he knew anyone whose expertise he could tap on to put some purpose and life into the aims of the organization. And by the way, any surprise that even Paa Grant, one of the richest people in the world at the time, was not honored as a member of the fake Big Six?

Anyway, after proposing Kwame Nkrumah, Ako Adjei and Paa Grant impressed upon and persuaded Nkrumah to leave his international appointment as a senior member of the Pan African Movement to return home to lead the struggle for independence.

Within six months of Nkrumahs arrival, membership of the UGCC ballooned from a handful of opinionated dandy self-assumed elites to a nation-wide organization of hundreds of thousands. Instead of appreciation, this rather became a bone of contention between the Big One and the Insignificsnt 5 who accused Nkrumah of opening the doors of the UGCC wide open to "verandah" boys (ordinary people) and riff-raffs. For this, they accused Nkrumah of being a communist. Over time, the stand-off grew worse until the massive followers of Nkrumah virtually ordered him not to attend anymore UGCC meetings.

It is instructive to note that ever since the days of slavery and colonialism to date, anytime a Blackman resists oppression and tyranny, our evil oppressors and their moronic, shameless, gormless and crawling arse-licking African puppets would point fingers at them as being rebels, uncontrollable (patapaa) or communist. Not much has changed since then, has it?
