We are not developing because the country is led by a bunch of idiots, stupid and irrational people who don't know what development is all about. For example, they will rather use our resources to build a cathedral whilst our children go to school under a tree. Most of our leaders are just after power and the pomp surrounding the Presidency. They just want to be called President. They are not there to transform our lives. That said it's not the election winning cycle which is hindering our development efforts. Rather it's lack of empathy among those elected to lead us.
