Nonsense!. Who asked you to identify any potential electoral hotspots in the electoral areas in the country. Are the army the headmasters of security services in Ghana? The mandated duty of the Ghana armed forces is to protect the territorial boundaries of Ghana against external invasions. Therefore it is the singular responsibility of the Ghana police to handle any internal problems. As you rightly said, not until the police requests the services of the armed forces, they should stay in their barracks. Not at any hotspot. The mandated duty of the Ghana armed forces is to protect the territorial boundaries of Ghana against external invasions. After all looking at the elections tension in the country, everywhere is a potential hotspot and the strength of Ghana police should be able to make up for it. The soldiers have an agenda because Akufo Addo doesn't trust Dampare. If it's not difficult for NPP hooligans to snatch their member facing a trial in a courtroom how hard is it for them to snatch ballot boxes. Please IGP don't invite any soldiers. When their supporters know that the soldiers are on standby that's when they gain confidence to execute their evil agendas. When lives are lost again in the elections this time round, the reactions from citizens will be a different ball game all together.
