Ghana versus NPP and I believe you will choose Ghana over NPP. NPP = High Inflation of 54%, Echange rate of 4 to 1 now 17 to 1. General Economy hardship never experienced before.

  But SmartTransyt has already launched electric buses in Ghana plying the same route as a private company. They were the first to start this in Ghana, please stop killing private businesses. Instead of government supporting and encouraging private participation through policies, they choose to compete against them and use government apparatus to bully them. How are you not targeting SmartTransyt the first mover, when you come and compete with them on the same route and undercut them severely with price because you can use tax payers money to subsidize your operations and gain political points and votes.

  Same with free SHS. Private SHS are collapsing.
  Public-private partnerships are needed to help the economy. Private companies or individuals will invest more in Ghana if the government supports them and not try to destroy their businesses. This will create more jobs in Ghana.

Once upon the time Krobo Edusei was the minister of finance in the CPP government. He came to England and was very impressed to see underground trains. He wanted one in Ghana. Rumour had it that he ordered one. The problem was that he did not think about the rails. Coming back to the electric buses, everyone knows that they are technologically complex. Their maintenance of electric vehicles are not cheap. More importantly, can Ghana readily buy the parts of something goes wrong? Even, mighty US have issues with electric buses.
