Nana Akufo-Addo has recognized the Asantehene for his contribution to Peace in the North. Nana Akufo-Addo established the Dagbon Peace and the Free SHS. The NPP has also recognized the Asante Nation for their immense support of the NPP. I will also add that under Nana Akufu-Addo's leadership, the Asantehene crossed the River Pra, visited his counterpart the Kyebihene, and made history. That was historic. We need a Green Book of the NPP to tell Nana Akufo-Addo's accomplishments. The biggest of his achievements for me is the Bawumia story. Bawumia, if elected the next President of Ghana will be the chapter of the NPP's Green Book. Ghana, finally is heading in the right direction. May God continue His Blessings on the people of Ghana.

Kabut,please it is not true that Dr Nkrumah could not accommodate Asantes.Please Ashanti was CPP and ally of Dr Nkrumah. In the first general election held on 8th February 1954, the CPP obtained 34 out of 38 contested seats to win the election.Ashanti voted en masse for the CPP. The UGCC did not win a single seat in Ashanti. In the second general election of 15th June 1954 the CPP won 18 out of 21 seats in Ashanti. It was aggrieved Ashanti CPP that were expelled from the CPP on 5 June 1954 for refusing to step down as independents before the second general election of 15th June 1954 that formed the National Liberation Movement (NLM) on 19 September 1954 and battled Dr Kwame Nkrumah and the CPP. ( On 5 June 1954 81 were expelled from the CPP at their rally at Subin Valley for refusing to step down as independents. 32 of those expelled came from Ashanti).Please the NLM battled Dr Nkrumah and the CPP. For 3 years Dr Nkrumah could not go to Ashanti. In the election that gave us our lndependence held on 12, 17 July 1956, Dr Nkrumah could not go to Ashanti to campaign. Ashanti CPP fled Ashanti into exile.
