JDM conceptualized the project, secured the $398 million from the Indian Exim Bank, engaged the contractor, and cut sod before he left power. Nana Addo and the NPP only supervised the construction because they happen to be in government, just like NDC supervised construction of the N1 Highway and the Bui dam after Kuffuor left office. NDC did not claim those projects like the dishonest NPP is doing now. Why can't NPP be truthful for once? Nana Addo and NPP have no clue how projects like the Flower Pot overpass, the Pokuase and Tema Motorway interchange projects were conceived and how the Fundings were secured, yet they go out there to falsely claim ownership of those projects. They are simply dishonest.

The SGR is one of Kenya's largest infrastructure projects and was built by the Chinese Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC). Construction began in 2014 and was completed ahead of schedule in 2017 (3years)
