Altering Parliament's makeup through a simple announcement goes against the law and could result in ridiculous consequences.

This is the occurrence that has taken place at this time. In this scenario, the vacancy happened within three months of a general election. Article 112 (6) of the Constitution states that a by-election cannot be conducted so close to a general election. The composition of Parliament is to be preserved with no alterations.

Why does the NDC aim to become the majority in Parliament shortly before the election? It is sensible to leave such matters alone, but the NDC is determined to stir up unnecessary conflicts.
