Ghana has become a pale shadow of itself. For Ghana to now rely on a country such as Niger with the hope of qualifying for the AFCON can only be termed as embarrassing. The last time Ghana won the AFCON was in 1982. Since then, they have not brought even a disposal cup to justify the huge monies the country is spending on them. The best thing to do is for Ghana to opt out of all international football tournaments for 5 years. The government can then hold regional consultations for the people to suggest ways to make the national team a winning team. Currently it's like Ghana is making a fruitless attempt to fill a leaking tank with water, the tank will never get full.
