I think the Supreme Court is overstepping its boundaries and, on many occasions, being biased toward the party in government.
It reflects a concern many share when balancing power between different branches of government. The perception of bias and overreach by the judiciary can undermine public trust in the legal system and democratic processes. The judiciary is meant to be an independent judge, free from political influence, so when decisions consistently favor one party, it can raise questions about impartiality.
The principle of checks and balances is designed to prevent any one branch of government from becoming too powerful. If the judiciary is perceived as overstepping, it can disrupt this balance.
The legitimacy of the judiciary relies heavily on public perception. If people believe the courts are biased, it can erode confidence in the entire legal system.
Ensuring that all branches of government operate within their constitutional limits is crucial for maintaining democratic integrity.
The judiciary and the legislative branches must be held accountable to prevent abuses of power.
Transparency: Greater transparency in judicial decisions and processes can help mitigate perceptions of bias and overreach.
I invite all to participate in the ongoing dialogue and scrutiny to ensure that the judiciary remains a fair and impartial institution. Citizens must engage in these discussions and advocate for reforms that uphold the principles of justice and democracy. This ruling is out of place.

Willy-nilly, Bagbin must quickly recall Parliament, as he has already begun to eat his humble pie humiliatingly. Surely, this must be Bagbin's final political meltdown! Can he even survive his fast approaching few dying days as the Speaker? Indeed, Bagbin is a humiliating shame and a big disgrace for the nation's young thriving democracy. Albeit, it's a big sigh of relief that all is settled and finished now. NDC's buga-buga aggressions and other violent political thuggery will never be allowed to triumph in modern-day politics.
