Parliament must do away with these terminology of majority and minority. It is meaningless. There must be a structure put in place to determine where in parliament the NPP and the NDC should be sitting. If that can be achieved by a toss of a coin so be it . Parliament House is not for fighting. If our politicians respect themselves, they can sit among themselves in parliament without any particular order . But since these MPs see themselves as enemies, there is a division in Parliament House where the different parties are assigned to seat . Even that causes confusion. Those who are independent can chose to seat with the party of their choice or given a place in parliament to seat if they don’t want to align themselves with either party . The practice of each party sitting either to the left or right of the speaker with its nonsensical significance must be eliminated. The sitting arrangement in parliament should be like what happens to the spectators at a game . They may chose to sit down mingling among themselves while supporting their teams or grouping together and sitting at their chosen place based on which team they support . Our MPs must grow up .
