  1. In as much as we all agree that there must only be one head chief of Bawku for peace to prevail, that doesn't mean we maintain or endorse illegitimacy.
  2. I didn't hear Dr. say when the security mediation team reached Bawku, they went to see the recently installed chief on the Mamprusis side but rather the youth but in a sharp contrast, he mentioned that, the team was there to see a so called BawkuNaaba. My concern here is that, is that not a way of Government machinery telling the whole world that the Government of the day support the Kusasis?
  3. What is even the meaning of BawkuNaaba? Who deserve to have "Bawku" added to his title, is it the customary tenants or the real founder of the Bawku land head chief as the Overlord?.
  4. No matter how genuine we can all say we want peace in Bawku, there shall not be peace without JUSTICE.
  5. Declaration should be made in terms of leadership and this should be based on "ownership/founding" of the land of Bawku. Not on whose name is on the national register of chiefs. It is not name being on national house of Chiefs which makes one legitimate but rather the ancestral pedigree.
  6. He who founded the land, owns everything including the people and shall forever Lord over his land until conquered not government taking sides.

I don't know how come that he gets to Bawku and recognizes a political chief and not the traditional chief. I am from the south and I tell you we respect our chiefs as traditional people and no one can use court to dethrone a chief from Asanteman. We will rise up and demand war!
