Now let's consider the road,there are 3 roundabouts on the Poasi Road streching from Sekondi to Takoradi.
The 1st roundabout is at European Town where you find the "Independence Arc" in Sekondi.
The 3rd roundabout is in Takoradi where you find Paa Grant Roundabout.
Between the 2 is the Effia Nkwanta Hospital roundabout,where Nana Addo's statue has been situated.
You can also see Paa Grant's residence still standing at European Town so with this new statue,it confirms the link between UGCC and NPP.
That also explains why Sekondi/Takoradi is considered NPP's stronghold.Tnx.

I believe that the statue was not placed there because of the hospital but it has more to do with Paa Grant or politics.
The other aspect of the debate is the contribution of the Dixcove Traditional Council.
To the best of my knowledge, Dixcove plays crucial role in the Chieftaincy affaires in Sekondi and they have explained their reason.Tnx.
