  I am disppointed in Otto for this move which is likely to ruin Kudus' confidence for NO APPARENT reason than to appease a particular cohort. This is a terrible precedent. He should have never given the captaincy to Kudus in the first place if he knew the decision to do so was so tentative. And if there was ACTUAL camaraderie in the team, the offer of captaincy should have been denied by the senior players as a vote of confidence for the young Kudus. Shameful team with SELFISH players.

Otto Addo is now learning on the job so Ghana has a long way to go and we should expect the worse. I don't see us qualifying for the WC under Otto Addo, mark my words. Otto Addo should go and learn about the law of growth. How do you grow without struggle, he should have allowed Kudus to continue captaining the team because this his decisions can paralyze Kudus career. The FA is also dumb to allow this nonsense

  I totally agree with you my brother. But this is where "wisdom" from the senior players who care about the WHOLE TEAM as opposed to their own personal plaudits could have come in handy. Whoever was offered the captains armband in lieu of Kudus should have REJECTED it in solidarity with Kudus so as not to break his spirit. The fact that a senior player would actually accept the armband is disgraceful.

  Oh Ghana full of madness,don't blame Otto he's a new baby interms of spiritual things,yes I will say a truth, Ayew family nearly killed Otto through accident but he survived,then they embarrassed him with alot of confusion limitations and disrespect, and offcorse because he wanted to break Ayew's family authority over the team but Otto was not strong enough spiritually for that,he was on the right path, but unfortunately Ayew's was all over everywhere physically and spiritually...... Yes I know what I'm talking, black stars is cursed because of too much personal juju around it..... Ghana should give me chance and I will shake and break unwanted things in the team, it will only take me one week.....

  The mistake is using seniority and longevity to select a captain. As a coach those two markers means zero to me. It's simple with me I basically select the player who I think is the best extension of me on the pitch.

  These and other juicy food facts were served as an appetizer recently in an Eckerd College Autumn Term course titled Planet on a Plate: Soul Food, Spring Rolls and Sofrito. The course, taught by Janet Keeler, Ed.D., instructor of journalism and communication and faculty adviser to The Triton student news publications, focused on culinary contributions to the American plate from Africa (soul food), Asia (spring rolls) and Latin America (sofrito).
  
  At its core, Keeler explains, students learned how migration, immigration and slavery have influenced and continue to influence the food Americans eat. The course included a field trip to the Woodson African American Museum of Florida, along with presentations from the authors of The Cuban Sandwich: A History in Layers and chef Helena Josephs—owner of Island Flavors and Tings, a Caribbean restaurant and grocery store in Gulfport. A fringe benefit: All three excursions included tastings.

  Josephs isn’t only a successful business owner, she has donated resources to local nonprofits and utilizes local and regional vendors to help other small businesses. She grew up in Jamaica and learned to cook by watching her mother. After moving to St. Petersburg in 1986, she studied to be a TV producer. “But I also started to cook for my friends,” she explains, “and that opened up my love for cooking.”
  
  In 2006, Josephs opened up her restaurant and grocery store. “Our motto is ‘Shop, Dine and Chill,’” she says. “I didn’t know what I was doing at first. But I read a lot of books and studied a lot online and taught myself how to run a business. Then everything kind of flowed into place.
  
  “The unique thing about Caribbean food,” she adds, “is that it has cuisines from all over the world intertwined with it. For instance, we are very close to Cuba, so we have Hispanic influences. That’s why, when people from Jamaica are traveling, the first thing they look for is a Jamaican restaurant—because they know they’ll find really good home-cooked food.”

  Behaving the same way Akwasi Appiah did, I dont know where to put K Asamoah, BGig names dont play football, I was waiting for the USA Team to get tired before bringing Essien and co. Adam Kwarasey loses first match he is thrown out. The minister and the Ghana Amateur Football Association should themselves have been thrown out with their indecision to hire a competent coach, attitude of wasting talents with so many trial and error call ups destroying the confidence of the players, backstabbing and shattered morales.
