I love Ghana, NPP is happy to run and hide under the guise of democracy to have their way when they know that the president they set is now coming to haunt them. When it suits them to say someone defected so they are not parliamentarians anymore they were happy. Now they are crying and blaming NDC. don't forget that actually if they didn't run to the supreme court Parliament will be sitting today all be it they will be sitting on Minority side. Government business will be done. Now they thinking they can use supreme court to bully parliament are realising the cause of their actions. They can go again and serve the speaker for parliament to resit. Speaker will have 7 days to reply , and call for a sitting within 7 days. That makes it earliest 14 days . Ay3ka. 21st November earliest. Good Luck i'm sitting here watching Netflix , having popcorn. Enfa me Ho

Is Martin Kpebu a true lawyer? Is he applauding the decision (of the Speaker, also a lawyer) to ignore a ruling of the court? If the Speaker can ignore a ruling of the SC and scandalize the Chief Justice at a press conference, does he (and Kpebu) then expect ordinary Ghanaians to obey laws passed by the parliament over which he presides? British Parliament also known as House of commons interdicted Blair for misleading Parliament for mandate to go to war against Iraq.Supreme court acquitted Blair and blocked lawyers for prosecuting Blair. Similarly Supreme Court of Ghana served the speaker Bagbin with stay of execution. In my view the speaker should have gone to court to challenge the stay of execution. Rather speaker seemed to be playing politics. In fact Supreme has authority to hear any matters bought to court and it's decision is binding. Supreme Court is not bound by previous decisions. That's to say Supreme Court can depart from earlier decisions. Supreme does not have to follow precedent. Supreme Court's decision can be wrong or right but is binding. Reason it's called Supreme.
